Crouch End Fitness Centre Running Club

We are super excited to announce our Brand - New partnership with London Heathside Running Club!

At Crouch End Fitness, we're always looking for ways to help our members grow stronger, healthier, and more connected to the local community. That’s why we’re thrilled to be teaming up with London Heathside Running Club (LHS) - one of London’s most respected, inclusive, and high - performing running clubs.

This partnership gives our members an exclusive opportunity to take their training beyond the gym walls and onto the streets and parks of North London, working alongside experienced coaches and a motivated group of runners.

 

About the Sessions 

These high - intensity group running sessions take place every Tuesday evening at 7:00 PM, starting directly from Crouch End Fitness. Each session lasts approximately 75 – 90 minutes and is carefully structured to help you develop :

  • Speed through interval - based workouts and pace variation

  • Endurance by building aerobic capacity with progressive training

  • Running technique with proper form cues and drills

  • Race preparedness for distances from 5K to half marathons and beyond

Sessions begin with a dynamic warm - up, followed by focused intervals or tempo running, and end with a cool - down and stretching. Every session is led by experienced run leaders and club coaches, ensuring you're supported and challenged in equal measure.

    Where It Happens

Spring/Summer : When daylight allows, sessions are held in scenic local parks including Alexandra Palace, Priory Park, and others nearby. The soft ground and open space offer a perfect setting for drills, hill work, and longer intervals.

Autumn/Winter : During the darker months, sessions move onto the well-lit roads of Crouch End and surrounding areas, maintaining consistency and safety without compromising training quality.

Who It's For ?

The sessions are best suited for runners who have some experience and are ready to build on their current fitness. To get the most out of these sessions, you should be able to run 10km in around 60 minutes or less. This is not a beginners’ group, but it welcomes a wide range of runners looking to improve and push themselves further from casual 10K runners to club-level athletes.

You’ll be training alongside a diverse, welcoming group of runners of all ages and backgrounds. While sessions are officially for London Heathside members, we are excited to offer trial sessions for new runners, so you can experience the club’s atmosphere and coaching first - hand before joining.
